Run: 10k in just under 58 minutes.
File this under, well I thought I'd try this. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I did run a 10ker after that 15k, but wow was I tired. I usually balance out my running load across a span of a week, but this week I've done over after of my weekly distance in two days. In previous years I have done this but not in the last year.
It was both a good test but showed me that I've got more to do in terms of gaining back what fitness I had in years past. I took the most flat path I could for this run and while pretty, it was always a recovery run in my mind. With that being said, I wasn't as slow as I thought, and so I did the circuit in a decent time and enjoyed a good breakfast after.
Run review: More than a bit of a chore, but done in just under 58 minutes at a 5'47" pace.
