15k'er - back on the horse again

Run: 15.5k in 1 hour, 35 minutes.

This the run of two parts. The first part was running with my lovely wife. I didn't expect that she'd want to go out today but just as I was getting ready to leave she said, "I'm coming with you, is that okay?" I would never say no to running with her as always enjoy a jaunt together.

We take a modified route through downtown Okotoks; taking us by the river, through the downtown core, and down the treed streets of Okotoks. It has a few more hills than my dear wife wanted but in the end it was done. As we hit the 5k mark, I give her a wee peck on the lips and head off for part two of the run.

Part two of the run was a 10k'er that included the famous Goose Poop Loop in Okotoks. I haven't ran this in months due to injury and darkness at 5:30AM so I'm excited to run this path. I also remember that there is a bathroom in that area so that coffee I dark just 90 minutes before can leave!

The geese are out in the park, with one fussy goose hissing at me as I run by. The run through the loop includes running up and down a bit of hill, and as I start it I rather slow considerably almost I like I thought I should. Shaking my head, I just decide to pick up the pace and trundle up the hill to the top. The top is a reward somewhat as I have 500 metres until I get to the next minor climb.

As I come back to the main road that runs through Okotoks, I see folks golfing in a spot I didn't even know was there. Okotoks has some many wonderful spots to run.

Run review: Did the slow and faster paces. Ran through parts I haven't done for months. 5/5 review.
